Refund and Returns Policy
Refund and Returns Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Thank you for shopping with Serendiphub. We export Sri Lankan spices, Ceylon cinnamon and Sri Lankan tea to customers in the United States. This policy explains when we accept cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds.
1. Products covered by this policy
Our products are food and beverage items. For health, safety and quality reasons, opened, used or tampered-with products generally cannot be returned. Any return or refund must comply with applicable laws and shipping requirements in Sri Lanka and the destination country.
2. Order cancellations
You may request cancellation by contacting us as soon as possible at info@serendiphub.com. We can cancel an order only if it has not been packed or dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it is subject to the delivery, damage and return provisions below.
3. Damaged, incorrect or missing items
Please inspect your parcel when it arrives. If your order is damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at info@serendiphub.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the parcel, shipping label and affected products. Keep the products and packaging until we complete our review.
Where the issue is verified as our responsibility, we may offer a replacement, resend the missing item or issue a refund for the affected item, including reasonable standard shipping charges where applicable. The available remedy may depend on stock, carrier procedures and applicable law.
4. Returns and change-of-mind requests
Because our products are edible goods, we do not normally accept returns for change of mind, incorrect ordering, taste preference or a refusal to accept delivery. We may consider an exception only when the product is unopened, unused, in its original sealed packaging and we have approved the return in writing before it is sent.
Do not send products to us without written approval. Unauthorised or non-compliant returns may be refused or may not qualify for a refund.
5. Refunds
After we receive and review an approved return or the evidence relating to a damaged, incorrect or missing order, we will notify you whether the request is approved. If approved, the refund will be sent to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by law.
Payment providers and banks may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account. Original shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes and other destination-country charges are not refundable unless the issue was caused by us or applicable law requires otherwise. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
6. Sale items and promotional orders
Sale and promotional items are subject to the same product-safety and damaged-order rules. A sale price does not remove any rights you have under applicable consumer law. Promotional terms may limit refunds to the amount actually paid for the affected item.
7. International shipping, customs and import requirements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for checking whether spices, cinnamon and tea may be imported into their destination country. Customs duties, import taxes, inspections, permits, quarantines and other destination-country charges are the customer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.
If a parcel is returned, destroyed or delayed because the customer refused delivery, supplied incorrect information or did not complete required customs procedures, we may be unable to provide a refund for the product or shipping charges.
8. How to contact us

9. Your legal rights
This policy is not intended to limit any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection law. If a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement will apply.
